Nestled in the lush, sun-dappled valley of Dhikuli, Corbett Leela Vilas was born out of a profound reverence for India’s oldest wilderness—Jim Corbett National Park. Founded with a vision to redefine eco-luxury hospitality, our journey began as a passionate endeavor to create a sanctuary where the raw, untamed spirit of the jungle harmoniously meets the ultimate heights of refined comfort.
Before becoming the premier boutique retreat it is today, the property was conceptualized as an antidote to crowded, mass-scale resorts. The blueprint was simple yet ambitious: preserve the ancient migratory pathways and local flora of the region while crafting an exclusive, low-impact footprint.
Instead of stacking concrete hotel rooms, we chose to design 12 independent, ultra-luxury villas, ensuring that each guest could experience the deep, enveloping quiet of the Kumaon forest.
